Revisions Policy

Most projects undergo several revisions before they are completed to Client’s satisfaction.
Read this document to understand when revisions will not incur additional costs and when they will.

Revisions will not incur additional costs if:

The Client requests revisions on the current animation stage.
For instance, if the Producer is working on the storyboard, the Client can request as many reasonable revisions as necessary but not exceeding the Maximum Allowed Revisions Cap to satisfy the Client’s expectations.
The Producer will only move forward to the next animation stage once the current stage has been approved in writing by the Client.

Maximum Allowed Revisions Cap:
The animation contract states that the total amount of revisions allowed on a project cannot amount to more that 10% of the budget.
Additional revisions are to be invoiced at a rate stated on the signed contract.

Revisions WILL incur additional costs if:

The Client requests revisions on a previously approved stage of the animation.
For instance, once the script has been approved, requesting changes to the script at the storyboarding stage (or any subsequent stage) will incur additional costs.

What is a Reasonable Revision

A reasonable revision is one that the Producer feels will help improve the final animation.

In most cases, the Client hires the Producer because they trust the Producer’s ability to execute the Client’s vision in the most effective and creative way.

The Producer will inform the Client when the Producer feels a requested revision will have a negative impact on the final product and only execute the revision once the Client commands in writing, against the Producer’s advice, to carry on with the revision.
