Open source communities have undeniably revolutionized the digital world, but now it’s time to take things one step further. We’re applying that same methodology to personal transportation, and by standardizing the basic hardware and software, we’ve made it easy for anyone to design, share, and sell their own personal, short-distance vehicle.

We call it FlexPV, but you might be calling it your new way around town!

FlexPV is a battery powered wheel, controlled by a remote or smart phone. The wheel is propelled by a durable hub motor and fastened to any object with universal brackets.

Panasonic batteries with aluminum alloy shells provide a safe and light power source that can be paralleled to increase driving distance.

The control module contains an inbuilt gyroscope and communicates with the driver via wifi network. Using a remote, speed and direction can easily be controlled. And with the mobile app, you can adjust a variety of parameters such as maximum speed, driving distance, and balance.

The simplicity of FlexPV’s design democratizes innovation, and the possibilities are endless. Plus, with FlexPV’s community, users can share designs and collaborate with others.
They can even sell their own PV products through the community stores, driving innovation even further.

With FlexPV, open source is revolutionizing short-distance transportation and deepening the exploration of sustainability. For more information, visit FlexPV.cc.
